The ads you see are paid advertisements. Most of them are business opportunities, which doesn’t make them scams. Whenever I get a new client, I check out what they’re advertising before I will accept it. That said, as you know having ads on a site (or in a magazine, on a tv channel, etc.) does not mean it’s being endorsed. I’m very clear on that in my mailings and my TOS. I have done a handful of personal endorsements in my 11 years of publishing. Advertising is how I make my income. It was important for me to have a business model that didn’t pass any cost on to my site visitors.

I did know that Disciples Cross had a guarantee, and as I said in my post my overall impression is that the program is not a scam. It’s just a wee bit misleading because I think their goal really is to have you sell your crosses on your own, which many people do successfully. The crosses were just too labor intensive for me. Of course I was doing that in addition to running a full-time business as well, so maybe if that’s all you’re doing it wouldn’t be so bad. If you decide to go forward with it, please keep us posted on how it works out for you.

FYI The Deciple Crosses program does have a 30-day guarantee. If you did not send any crosses in for inspection they say they will refund the 69.95 paid for the start-up kit. I do not have any connection with them I was just checking them out, that’s how I found this page.

To Sharon, you say your site has legitimate at home resorces on you page. On the left and right of your page are the same type of ads for work from home I see at most sites. Are you saying that the ones on your page are all legit? If not you comment here is misleading. Is it just the list you run in the middle that you back.

I have spent money on two work at home compaies that seem to me to be scamming most that pay out money for kits, tools and materials.
