Antoinette Kuritz turned her love of words to a multi-media enterprise. A Literary Publicist, Publishing and Media Coach, author, Host of Writers Roundtable Radio Show, KUSI-TV “Book Lady”, Founder of the LaJolla Writers Conference, wife-of-one, mother-of-three, grandma-of three, … and soon to be Publisher … is up-to-her-keyboard in the book biz.
Antoinette is a voracious reader with an innate respect for written words and those who write them well. Former teacher and bookseller, she has inspired Chicken Soup Mogul Mark Victor Hansen, launched the national career of psychic medium John Edward, represented crime writer Joseph Wambaugh, set up events for Carl Reiner, Betty White, Depak Chopra, Tony Gwynn and her favorite, the late Dr. Benjamin Spock …
Hosting over 360 radio shows, she picked the brains of top names in the book industry including NYT authors like Tess Gerritsen, Michael Connelly, Lisa Jackson, Stephen J. Cannell, James Rollins …
Celebrating its 10th anniversary the La Jolla Writers Conference in San Diego continues to “pay it forward” providing an inexpensive, informative, intimate, gathering of established authors, agents editors, distributors,… all teaching the art craft and business of writing to writers of all levels.
Antoinette is on a first-name basis with national media producers, has taught at Publishing University and Book Expo America and truly knows the behind-the-book-cover aspects of the industry. Her day job is developing quality authors from concept to published best-seller.
Antoinette started her PR firm in her family room and now works out of what was once a 10 x 30 foot potting shed in her backyard! We’ll be chatting about her amazing journey, creating a career at home, the challenges of working at home with your spouse and much more.
