I must admit that I am an introverted person by nature. Which is why I am so thankful for the advent of the internet and the ability to work online from home.

I just feel more confident and competent online.

The internet does as you say, gives introverts the structure to be who they are and leverage the venue for business. Often there still is a need to pick up the telephone and have a conversation and by then, the relationship is likely formed and a good jumping point for many introverts.
