When you have picked your product and created the basis for your marketing campaign, you need to make sure that you are taking the right actions toward your final goal of establishing and expanding your business. All of the best laid plans will not mean anything if you and your downline do not take the right actions to fulfill your goals.

Analysis must be an integral part of the actionable steps that you take if your actions are to be successful in establishing and growing your business. Remember that you do not have to figure out the answers; your customers will tell you exactly what they want and your downline will tell you exactly what they need if you listen to them.

At the beginning of your business endeavors, there will be some trial and error built into your process. However, the more that you analyze your own efforts during your direct marketing process, the more effective your first actions as a true business person will be correct.
The best business people are great listeners. When you are beginning your journey as a businessperson, you want to listen much more than you talk when you are having conversations with your customers as well as your mentors and eventual downline. There is something to be said for the fact that we are born with one mouth and two ears (we should listen twice as much as we talk).
You will eventually find the right actions to take when you begin to recognize patterns in the responses that you receive from your customers and your eventual business partners.
- Performing the Right Analysis
Every so often, you should stop and analyze what results your actions have brought you. You can then tweak your marketing program and the people that you have within your business structure to match your goals more closely.
The one problem with analysis is overanalysis. Some people get into what is known as “analysis paralysis” and completely stop taking action because they are constantly trying to gather more information to ascertain the perfect solution. There will always be more data to amass than what you have. Learn to realize when your analysis starts to have diminishing returns for your business.
There are only a very few activities in network marketing that make you money. All of the rest are distractions and those distractions always appear as urgent, making it all too easy to forget about the money making activities.
