Thanks for your comments Scott and you are right, work at home moms do wear many hats. But what about the work at home dads? There are more and more of them these days and I think it’s terrific.

Sharon, very good article. I must say right from the start that I really admire moms who work from home. They have to wear so many hats. Running a household is a full time responsibility. Adding a home business on top of that makes it so challenging.

I’m not sure if there were any June Cleavers back in the 50s. But it did make for a enjoyable television show. But there are very few June Cleavers that exist today, particularly if they have a home business.

The family should take top priority in most situations. So a mom must be organized, focus on her business, plan her day as well as possible, and work very smart when she has time to work in her business. Thanks, Sharon.

Moms working from home have to juggle so many things. And the computer doesn’t care if your hair is a mess or your house is a runaway train wreck. The important thing is you at least get your work done and move on.
