Anyone out there working for Lionbridge as independent consultant having a hard time getting paid? I received my first paycheck on time but should have received my 2nd paycheck last week and no payment yet. I’ve written several emails but no reply… just wondering if anyone else has had trouble with late/no payment as an independent contractor. Please help, I don’t know if they plan to pay me!

I’ve read posts from several people that it is impossible to talk to anyone from Leapforce. I’ve snooped around and it seems that the only way to get the attention of any humans at Leapforce is to start a blog talking smack about them.

Leapforce pay is about $13.50 US. But I am finding their tool to track time worked leaves much to be desired. So far I am only getting paid for half the time I worked because their tool is timing out during half my work session.

LionBridge is good to work for. I did it for a about a year. Just decided to move on to other things.

Pay is decent, but it is international money transfer, which your bank will charge for. (It cannot be a credit union). So you have a deduction for that. In my case, Wachovia was charging 25$ each time, so if you only worked 25 hours that month, I would have lost 1$ an hour in pay technically.

@ Ian: I don't know, but there is a forum over at WAHM.com just for Google Quality Raters. My guess is that LB has a non-disclosure agreement though. You might be able to find out at what point in the process you will be given pay rate information. I do know that after your 2-part test you have a conference call where you can ask any questions you may have.

Hi,

My resume’s been accepted by Lionbridge and I’m on the brink of starting the application process.

BUT, since I’ve heard it’s really long, and since I’m already working a full-time job while searching for another, I really don’t want to do the whole process only to be offered a really crummy salary.

PLEASE, can anyone tell me how much Lionbridge pays their internet assessors and whether this fee is drastically different for people in different places.

Also, is it by hour? Any info about the actual salary would be great!

lionbridge is real/…..they pay good money…try it…no start up fee………
