3 days with no Internet

What a nightmare! My modem went kaput on Monday (my busiest publication day, naturally). After spending several hours (I’m not exaggerating, I swear) on the phone with my provider trying to get a new one sent out I spent 3 frustrating days calling clients to let them know that my ezine would be going out late.

Well, obviously I finally got my new modem. This is one of the challenging aspects of living in a remote area. I can’t just zip down to the nearest Best Buy and get a new one. I am, however going to buy an extra one so that if (I should say when) this happens again I’ll have a backup.
